Just a quick reminder on a Wednesday morning, that fuel filters on MK4 Platform 20vs are indeed service items 😂. Filter dated 2004 on a 2004 vehicle….
Anyone that knows these filters and clicky fittings knows that was a twitchy moment …

👀. We know the market need is still there for a high flow K04 manifold, and we’re not ignoring it. There has been on going design work for the last year or so, but it’s a project that only gets picked up out of normal working hours, when p

BMW 335XD
Here we have James' BMW 335 XDrive in for hardware fitting + Stage 2 ECU + TCU on the dyno
This had an Uprated Intercooler, brake discs and pads front and rear, gearbox service, engine service.

he dyno we went to see what we could get out of it.
With this being XDrive we had to use a software called XDelete which allows you to switch to RWD on these models, This allows us to run the vehicle up to see what it is making before and after the tuning session and then switch it back to xDrive without any issues.
With this still having DPF in place, it did limit us compared to a Stage 2 that would have a DPF gutted or a downpipe but James wanted the extra power whilst retaining the road legal side of things (I don't blame him lol).
We also carried out our Stage 2 TCU which improves the gearbox massively including: Torque limiters raised to allow for more torque to be produced, Gear display, Quicker shifts, Clutch Parameters, Oil Pressure Management and to top it off some nice torque punch on upshifts when giving it some beans!
This made some pretty solid figures and a WHOLE bunch of torque which I'm sure will be enough for James!

This made a bit less than stock quoted figures which isn’t as rare as you’d think!

perfect and was an absolute animal on the road and surprisingly hooked pretty well even in damp conditions and the extra power
the graphs may look the smoothest but boy did this feel nice and linear on the road pulling all the way till redline.
Once collected one of the first messages from sam was:
“it’s ******* rapid” 😂
This was an all rounded good example of an M3 with no issues when it came to tuning and it allowed us to write OBD which is always a success with the ecu being hidden and a ballache to pin out, especially with bad eyes running in the family 🤦🏼♂️

Ford Focus 1.5 Diesel
These can be a pain to tune when not possible through OBD, this was one of those.
This meant that we had to run the vehicle up on the dyno, data log and see the power it was producing, then take the vehicle off the

dyno, jack it up, wheel off, ecu out of wheel arch 🥲.
Once file was applied via bench method, we made we made some nice gains!
These are very sluggish stock and feel flat top end, a stage 1 changes this and allows for a strong feel of power all the way through the rev range 🤌🏼

This was an animal on the road losing traction in 4th gear (in wet/damp) 💪🏻
customer took it out after with us and was chuffed to bits with how it performed.
with this car not having a tune on prior to this session, the difference was absolutely crazy.
suprisingly this one was straight forward for an ST and only had one boost pipe blow off and came in with all working components!
reminder to the ST’s, please make sure that the vehicle is ready to be tuned and any weak/faulty components are seen to prior to the vehicle coming to us 🫶🏼
(this also goes for any car)

This was completely stock apart from having a 1756 turbo to it so power differentiates from the usual stage 1
This made some nice figures stock (bound to due to turbo) so we had a nice base point to work off.

🍿 limiter also set at 4500rpm
Once tuned, after a couple revisions we ended on a strong and healthy 202bhp and 434nm , power now increasing all the way till redline instead of dropping off.
On the road this was a beast! a lot of the pd community would say it pulls like a train 😂
