Ford Focus ST in for Stage 3 tuning Mods: Stage 2 Cams Intake Intercooler 750cc injectors Forged engine RS hybrid turbo Plenum RS Clutch SMF conversion Uprated fuel pump RS MAF and MAP sensor We applied RS Software to the ECU prior so the customer could get the vehicle running and brought to us. We initially ran it at 0% WGD to make sure that everything was reacting how it should be, once increasing WGD it stayed pinned at 0% on data logs, throwing a fault for wastegate solenoid. Shoving our heads into the engine bay as much as possible, we found it to have the terrible “uprated boost control solenoid”, please do not use these as they are a trash and never work (the OEM one is perfectly fine). Once replaced it finally had boost and showed the wastegate following what was requested in the map instantly, first revision making a nice 380bhp 💪🏻 after many revisions with fuel trim clean up, more boost and a whole bunch of timing, we ended up on some strong figures! This car was just eating timing with another 12 degrees added before it starting pulling timing! Unfortunately the spool on this turbo was ridiculous taking 10 years to actually spool up and kick in 😂 Once in boost this was an animal on the road with 2nd and 3rd useless just spinning constantly, once in 4th it did start to grip, let’s just hope this dry weather comes as quick as possible for him to enjoy the power Another one tuned to perfection 👌🏻

This came in for a juicy amount of parts to be fitted alongside tuning! This already had: Intercooler Downpipe Catback Paddle clutch We then fitted a Venom550 Hybrid Turbo, ECOTUNE LPFP, VIS HPFP, 4 bar MAP sensor, Ramair Jetstream intake, PCV valve, DI injectors, SIMOS18 ECU. Alfie wanted us to test and clean the injectors as previous tuner reported that cylinder 2’s injector was causing problems. upon testing the injectors, this became apparent as number 2 injector was all over the place and had failed, So we fitted 4 fresh injectors in 💪🏻 Whilst intake manifold off, we noticed the valves were clearly caked so asked Alfie if he wanted them cleaning (obviously he said yes), making them look nice and brand new! With this being an early S3, it came from factory with a SIMOS12 ECU which if anyone knows are a terrible ECU when it comes to wanting extra goodies, SIMOS12 doesn’t allow for anything like map switching and so on. So we got a SIMOS18 plug and play ECU from Kallam which allowed us to then work on tuning the car with map switching, launch control (with it being manual), No Lift Shift and so on. With a little bit of coding via VCDS we had everything running as should be and car was ready to go on the dyno 👌🏻 Once on the dyno, we started with a base file at 1.6bar to make sure everything was running how it should be and all actual values are meeting specified. Everything was all good apart from there were problems with it not hitting specified boost and we could hear boost escaping with fluctuations on and off. We knew what this was straight away as we have had the exact problems in the past with a certain part fitted. a blow off valve. So that came straight off lol so now working with stock diverter which we find is always best and there is no need for any upgraded DV/BOV at all to help maintain boost at these levels. Once this was removed, we ran it up again and had no problems with actual hitting specified at all… We finished at a nice 2bar making some strong and healthy figures for the setup with peak torque at 4800rpm and peak power at 7000rpm! This was an animal on the road pulling hard through the rev range 🚀

𝗙𝟭 𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗱 𝗥𝗼𝘀𝘀 𝗕𝗿𝗮𝘄𝗻 brought his stunning Porsche 992.2 GT3 Touring to the workshop for us to help improve its road manners.   It was a pleasure to show Ross around and he is every bit the petrol head we hoped, this was further confirmed when he explained his other daily driver is a GR Yaris 🙂 We had a lovely message afterwards to say “𝗧𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗸𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘀𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗮𝗿 𝘁𝗼𝗱𝗮𝘆. Vw Golf R in for Stage 3 ECU + TCU with switchable maps We have been doing extensive research and development recently on simos18 all hours of the day so it’s really nice to see it comes into play! This came in with an L500 turbo, intercooler, sports cat, induction kit, cat back system We then fitted an ECOTUNE HPFP alongside ECOTUNE fuel line upgrades. Once fitted, we then got to work with the tuning! this took around 8 revisions to perfect, finding the best boost strategy the car worked with. With this still having standard LPFP we couldn’t go crazy as they tend to go weak when going more power than this, fuel pressure on this bang on no loss of pressure, nice and stable 👌🏻 Switchable maps applied with a dedicated map for the extra goodies like rolling launch and a lower rpm launch in map 5 As you can see in the last graph, there are plenty of different power levels so if you’re not feeling like going all out then you don’t have to! (most people tend to stay in the highest map though including myself in my own 😂) Nice and linear power curve with torque holding through the rev range An absolute sleeper 😴

This Porsche Taycan Turbo S came to us for a Stage 1 remap & alignment. It drove into our workshop with the factory 761bhp and after our stage 1 remap it now has 800bhp with 1050Nm Having owned and lived with both a Taycan 4S and a Taycan GTS, we understand first-hand how additional performance transforms the driving experience. The cars feel more urgent, more responsive and ultimately more engaging without compromising range. The electric motors fitted to these vehicles have significant unused potential. Our calibration work carefully releases this performance while remaining fully within the limits of the vehicle’s Battery Management System (BMS). Gains vary depending on motor and battery configuration, however some models respond extremely well with highlights being; Audi RS e Tron GT can see increases of up to 156 bhp, and even the Taycan Turbo models benefit from gains of around 120 bhp Improvements are delivered across the power band, enhancing throttle response and acceleration rather than just peak figures. We have full details on our website. If you would like your Porsche Taycan or Audi e-Tron enhanced then feel free to contact us #litchfield #porsche #Taycan #supercarservicecentre #adrenalineengineered

The car had previously been running faultlessly with our Stage 5 775bhp upgrade for years, but it was time to step things up. We installed our LM3.8 engine, combined with our cast turbo manifold kit running Borg Warner 6758 turbos, along with Dodson gearbox upgrades. Together, this package delivers a smooth power curve and better than standard driveability. Our latest Version 10 software gives the driver switchable maps for different pump fuel octane levels, adjustable boost control and more advanced traction control. The main map delivers a comfortable 870bhp and 675lbft of torque. With the Push To Pass button activated, output rises to 912bhp and 702lbft, just as requested. Like all Nissan GT-R engines we build, this one was machined and assembled in-house by our dedicated engine team and is covered by our comprehensive 2 year/24,000 mile warranty for UK customers. Every GT-R engine we produce has a full digital record, capturing every measurement and detail from the blueprinting process. This is supplied to the owner as part of their Litchfield Passport book, providing long term reference, provenance and authenticity. Once complete, each engine is expertly run in on our Supertech engine dyno or Maha rolling road to ensure a controlled and correct running-in process. Whether you are looking for a simple refresh, a hypercar level power unit, a record breaking build or a Time Attack winning engine, we have the experience and knowledge to deliver the right solution. Visit our website and website blog for more information or call the office to discuss your plans 👍 #litchfield #nissan #gtr #blueprinted #enginebuilds adrenalineengineered

This Nissan GT-R billet block has just finished having its wet cylinder liners installed and is now ready for final honing. The block is first machined with our deck plates fitted, then carefully measured to ensure complete accuracy before moving onto our honing machine. This final process gives the new liners the correct finish to perfectly match their new pistons. This engine will be going into our next demo car, built to with a special purpose in mind. Stay tuned as the build continues….. #nissan #gtr #machineshop #adrenalineengineered #battalion30five

This one was initially tuned by us back in 2023 and has been back every 6-12 months to ensure the vehicle is running how it should. Every time this came in, logs were perfect and there were no abnormalities This time was different, he noticed that he would hear a flutter (compressor surge), on initial test drive i could see the sports displays showing stupid amounts of boost pressure for an IS38 which would never have been requested on our tune. Once on the dyno and data logging, this became apparent as logs were showing that it was hitting nearly 2bar all the way till 5000 revs 😅 It did confuse me a bit when it was making over 600nm but i’m not surprised with that amount of boost pressure 😂 We then started adjusting the map to try and compensate for the insane over boost, lowering the requested whilst adjusting the wastegate with this being on 127,000 miles it was more than likely due to the turbo starting to show its age. As seen in the pictures, green is requested boost pressure in the ECU and orange is actual, you want both of them to practically being kissing each other on logs and it definitely was not initially 😂 Adjusting wastegate tables as well as slowly ramping the boost pressure request very carefully prevented this from overboosting. Especially with the owner thrashing the car daily this definitely helped with reliability and preventing any unwanted damage! This just shows that things can change over time and it is always worth having a health check to make sure your vehicle is running as it should be! 1st log picture: how it came in 2nd log picture: overboost fix

This came in for full exhaust system and stage 2 mapping on the dyno! This was already tuned but not to its full potential which was released once tuned by us ;) We made a version which was less aggressive on the smoke maps and one which was more, he took it out after and said it was missing the aggression that he was wanting, so onto the second version it was and let’s just say it wasn’t disappointing, back end kicking out in third gear and spinning all 1st and 2nd 😂 Then came a problem. The most unlucky thing happened and it was actually a good thing it happened here, we were testing out the popcorn limiter whilst he was here and the water pump decided it did not want to be in the chat anymore, completely shearing off hitting the radiator, viscous fan, belt snapping and even the bonnet being hit in the chaos with plastic flying everywhere🤦🏼‍♂️ (what are odds of that). Car then had to be left with us and was fixed ASAP so he could actually enjoy the power 😭. This is a case of bad luck but at least it happened here instead of a situation like his diff blowing up the week before on a dual carriageway 😂😂
