Stage 2 - Pop and bang 🚀💥 Here our dealer Yendo Performance Tuning has something a little different in today. This Fiesta has had a full strip and rebuild. Now wanting to get some extra power as well as noise from the exhaust. So that is what we did! Our Stage 2 performance software along with pops and bangs was added. The latest 992.2 Carrera, Carrera S and Carrera T models share an evolution of the engine fitted to the previous 992.1 GTS, along with the improved intercooler from the 992.1 Turbo S. In standard form, Porsche quotes 389bhp (394PS) for the Carrera and Carrera T, while the Carrera S produces 473bhp (480PS). These figures are achieved using 95 octane fuel, with further power available on higher octane fuel. This GT Silver Carrera T was running on Shell V Power and produced an impressive 432bhp in completely standard form. Despite this, the factory calibration was clearly restricting its potential, even closing the throttle to limit power. After spending time on our MAHA dyno, we developed a custom Stage 1 ECU calibration that increased power to 575bhp, an impressive gain of 143bhp! 💻📈 While the car was with us, we also carried out an engine oil change and wheel alignment, applying our proven geometry settings to further improve the steering response and chassis balance. Here we have Sam’s M4 G82 that he recently got and knew the potential they had so was not long after getting it, he decided to come to us for tuning. We have done a good amount of R&D on the new G series M platform, mainly out of normal working hours and with dealers abroad. This is the first one that we have tuned in house on the S58 platform so it is nice to finally see what our tunes are producing and get a feel for it on the road. XHP setup with custom settings, ignition cut shifting, torque reduction during shifts adjusted, torque capped in lower gears to aid traction. Now this is an absolute weapon on the road and once you’re get into 3rd and 4th gear it’s gone. With Sam being my best mate, we both went out in it in the evening and he was speechless with how fast it was 😂 Setup to perfection and it’s always nice seeing the time you put into R&D coming into play to make an animal whilst being safe 🤌🏼
