VACANCY File Writer – Quantum Tuning Ltd Location: Hybrid remote position, occasional visits to our headquarters in Maidenhead, Berkshire, UK will be required for training, team meetings and collaboration. Quantum Tuning is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented File Writer to join our growing Files Team. This is an exciting opportunity to work at the heart of the remapping industry, supporting a global dealer network and helping deliver high-quality tuning files for a wide range of vehicles. What You'll Be Doing As a File Writer, you'll play a key role in the day-to-day operation of our Files Department, including: • Creating and delivering tuning files using existing templates and processes • Maintaining fast turnaround times while ensuring file quality and accuracy • Handling support tickets assigned to you and assisting dealers with technical queries • Providing telephone, online chat and ticket support to our dealer network • Working with our Database Team to improve and maintain WinOLS projects and autoresponder systems • Identifying and reporting issues relating to dealers, equipment, file quality or unusual vehicle behaviour • Applying DTC handling techniques where required • Contributing to the continuous improvement of our systems, processes and database What We're Looking For: Essential Skills & Experience • Strong computer and keyboard skills • Confident using Windows-based PC systems • Excellent attention to detail • Ability to work accurately under pressure • Good communication and customer service skills • Polite and professional telephone manner • Willingness to learn and develop technical knowledge • Ability to work independently and as part of a team Desirable Skills & Experience • Experience with WinOLS • Understanding of ECU remapping and tuning files • Knowledge of DTC management techniques • Experience using support platforms such as Freshdesk • Knowledge of Combustion Engines both gasoline and diesel • Automotive diagnostic or tuning experience What We Offer • A chance to work within one of the UK's leading vehicle tuning companies • Ongoing training and development • Friendly and supportive team environment • Opportunities to expand your technical knowledge and career • Working with cutting-edge vehicle tuning technology every day About Quantum Tuning Quantum Tuning is an internationally recognised vehicle remapping brand with a network of dealers across the UK and worldwide. This had an intake kit already fitted and decided he wanted some more power! With these being so detuned from factory. there is plenty of room to make some power whilst staying in safe parameters 💪🏻 making solid figures stock and some awesome figures once tuned after a couple revisions. As you can see, from factory, peak power is low in the rpm for a petrol and dies off after that making the car feel very sluggish going through the rev range (as well as only having 100bhp in general) Tuning these unlocks so much with peak power now being 1800rpm higher with a torque stretching further instead of also dying off. This actually had some poke now and i’m sure the owner will be pleased with it 👊🏼

Created by a local Twyning artist Sam Morris and named after the Japanese art of repairing broken pottery with gold, making it more durable and beautiful than before, the lion symbolises coming back stronger after cancer, a meaning that resonates deeply with so many families, including our own. After the trail ended, the village of Twyning came together to buy Kintsugi for display on the village green. When the auction price quickly went beyond the funds raised, something remarkable happened! People in the room began pledging extra support, and together the wider community helped secure the winning bid of £15,000. A wonderful reminder that, at a time when so much of the news feels negative, community and kindness still matter. We were proud to help by welcoming Kintsugi into our bodyshop, where we applied a durable protective lacquer and ceramic coating to help preserve it against the British weather. This came with very strong figures making a fair amount over quoted stock figures from factory. These are one of the best cars that have a huge increase from a stage 1 with them being so detuned from factory. We always recommend customers to get the lower model version of these vehicles due to the difference in price that it costs for these vs the higher models when you can get all the power that the higher models have just for £270 or £340 instead of the stupid difference in price between them! makes sense to me 🤷🏼‍♂️ On the road, these are night and day different and actually having some oomph when you need it instead of being flat as a fart 😂

This had just an intake on and running 99ron making some solid figures! we quote around the 230bhp mark but this one decided it wanted more! Nice amount of volume throughout the midrange making the driving experience of the car so fun, for 3 cylinders, these really do fly and are definitely slept on 👌🏻 Customer travelled all the way from Essex after hearing about what we do from his colleague! it’s always nice to hear even people from far are recommending us 😁 I’m sure he had a very fun drive back 😂

This nice example of a TT came in for Stage 1 tuning (has centre res delete and induction kit) This one took 3 revisions to perfect after playing about with timing to help with the power. Nice linear torque with huge volume in both power and torque curves! 0 timing withdrawal, boost following setpoint perfectly, fuel pressure spot on, the type of logs we like to see when tuning a vehicle 👌🏻 On the road this was completely different, removing all the flat spots it had as stock and pulling all the way to redline 💪🏻 Had to take a picture of the graph on this one as software decided to close itself after i printed the graph off, fuming. On the bright side he will love driving this now!
