Brought my RSQ3 here yesterday with a mapping and gearbox issue , spoke to Andy on email for the past few weeks , really informative and gave me massive reassurance, finally passed the keys over to the Scottish wizard Doug and… ohh my god he’s transformed the car into something else , car made 516bhp and 700nm torque with rev matching and subtle pops and bangs on the over run I would recommend these to anyone who loves fast VAG stuff Definitely will be back for more work

I took my 2003 RS6 (C5) in for suspension work and a service. Andy was upfront and honest about how scarce parts are and recommended that I source the key components myself before booking the car in. This helped avoid the car being off the road longer than necessary and he also took the time to confirm the correct part numbers, which was helpful. During the work, the dreaded DRC issues came up, with parts failing while being pressurised. Andy was able to source the additional parts needed — some even coming from Germany. Throughout the process, everything was clearly explained in terms of what needed to be done and cost. I also spoke with Nicholas, who talked me through the work required and the available options, helping me choose what was best for the car. Now I’ve got it back, it’s running like a dream — a great reminder of why I bought it 13 years ago. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this garage, especially if you’ve got an RS, they know the common issues, explained what needed to be done and got it sorted out.
MRC is the place to go if you want your VAG tunned , I had a generic map flashed on to my S3 8Y by one of the main tunning company's and it was not great , it made the gear changes on the down shift very clunky , had that removed and contacted MRC , Sarah answered all my questions on my concerns so booked a date for a ECU map only as TCU is locked ! Doug put a patch on TCU then rolling road ECU tune . I have to say it drives really smoothly with loads of power from stock 409 bhp !!! From 327 bhp stock Legends x

Took my RS5 to MRC for a service and stage one remap. Service/inspection was very thorough even picking up small stone chips on the paintwork. The remap makes the car behave like a proper Quattro should. I'm loving driving it again as much as when I first bought it. Thank you guys.

Stage 3 tune carried out by MRC in Falkirk back in December 2020, on receiving the car back it stunk of fuel from the exhaust, I was told this could be an exhaust leak! I had the exhaust sealed and seemed a little better but come MOT time it failed big time on the emissions (new miltek cat fitted) I contacted MRC was told it could be anything, still did not offer to check the car. Also contacted MRC Banbury hoping for help but nothing. Ended up getting Ecotune to remap the car, all sorted!! Emissions spot on. So wasted 850 quid on a not fit for purpose map with MRC!!

Took my s5 b9 to MRC today for a fair bit of work including stage 1 engine and TCU tune. Absolutely amazing team gave me every bit of information I asked for. To sum up 110% would take any vag car here they really know there stuff my car is amazing so happy on the way home completely different car.
Had my car mapped here a few years ago, popped back recently for a dyno health check. Always a great service and staff couldn’t be more helpful.
Under promised, over delivered - just how it should be
I have an S4 B8 that I bought in spring 2025. I bought it because it had an recent DSG rebuild a few months prior by a different company. Also Unbeknownst to me until a few weeks after I had the car, I found out that it had also been stage 2 tuned by MRC back in 2021. So thought I'd book it in for a health check and power run to see if it was still running ok. The car made 465PS or thereabouts on their rollers, but Doug from MRC noticed that the software on the DSG was an old stock file and that it was holding back power and torque and that the engine was not revving past 6900. Thus holding back power and torque. So I agreed for MRC to put their DSG software back on. This software made a big difference, the gear changes are now butter smooth and the car also made 487PS and 560ish NM of torque, while now revving way past 7k rpm. Very knowledgeable guys and the work was very efficient, and Iam very happy with how she drives and goes now! Thanks MRC. 👍
My 2018 S4 Avant was in need of a water pump replacement and after being quoted an extortionate price by an Audi main dealer, I contacted MRC. Their staff, especially Andy and Sarah, were really helpful advising what was needed and answering my questions. Now I’ve got the car back, they even cleaned it inside and out whilst they had it. They replaced the water pump and a few other parts at the same time which Audi wouldn’t have, all for cheaper than a main dealer. Will definitely be returning to them for future work on my car. As an added bonus, I got to meet Nala the MRC Tuning Labrador as well!
Took my RS3 to MRC for a misfire issue, which same day they managed to diagnose and rectify. Which I then proceeded with some tuning and supporting modifications. I would like to say the service from the front of house was great, The staff knew exactly what they were talking about, Very detailed with recommendations to suppport my build. Overall, I’m very happy with what MRC Have carried out. They may cost more than your ‘average’ garage, But if you own an RS or S model, I wouldn’t recommend going anywhere else as you get what you pay for in my opinion. Thanks again. William
