Forgot to leave these guys a review after using a couple of years ago, so here we go. Took a straight 6 bmw head to them, asked for skim, pressure test, and new valve guides. Went to pick it up when they said it was ready, a boy came out with the head, put it on the bench infront of me, and i inspected it. Looked inside the ports to see dirty old valve guides. I questioned it, so the boy said "i dunno", he went and got somebody else. The guy came out told me they couldnt get them so they sleeved the old ones. I took the head home, took a spring off the valve to check it, and hey presto it was absolutley rattling round in the guide. No valve work had been done. Just short of £600 to be lied to. Avoid at all costs.

I would like to express my appreciation for South Wales Pistons they’ve really done a superb job machining and sleeving the engine block on my 320si (N45B20). It has been a long struggle for any machine shop to do work on this type of engine and these guys have done an excellent job, thicker ductile liners and piston rings to suit.
