Ford Fiesta ST for Stage 2 tuning!
This was initially stage 1 tuned by us many moons ago and since then it has been retuned by another company who said that the actuator was weak so could not keep up with what he was requesting.

decided to come back to us to fit a FORGE actuator and stage 2 tuning
Their dyno printout showed 220bhp and 360nm which is close to what it dyno’d at on ours in regards to BHP. There was nothing wrong with their map and logs showed that it was healthy and tuned well 👌🏻
Once ran up on previous tuner’s file, we then put the vehicle back to stock software to get a base line of what the vehicle was producing in stock form (plus the mods). This showed it to be running healthy with good figures being made.
Onto our tuning, after around 6 revisions we got this to perfection, with logs spot on and car making some solid figures! The main focus was the volume and drive ability compared to the other map as opposed to what it was like in stock form (as this is the difference which the customer feels) broadening the torque range and a stronger powerband pulling hard through the rev range 👊🏼
Once done, this felt amazing on the road and with it being a dry day was gripping very well!

Focus ST Stage 2
This came in for stage 2 tuning and although not making our usual stage 2 figures it still pulled very well on road.
This made very good figures stock so was looking good for tuning, slight timing pull on stock so no ti

ming added to retain safety when pushing more power.
On our base file, we expected it to make more but it became apparent that the fuel pump was not up to it dropping off massively and just not playing ball with anything we adjusted. This hindered the power massively and nothing could prevent it from dropping off so ended up on some healthy figures with a very strong recommendation to change the fuel pump, this will boost performance straight away once a new one is fitted as the fuelling side isn’t struggling and can keep up 👌🏻
Nice power curve with a huge amount of volume transforming the way it drove on the road!

pressure perfect, the perfect log to see
As you can see, compared to when we tuned it, it is now making even more power since then!
This is nice to see, showing the car is healthy and performing how it should be still 💪🏻

In for stage 1 tuning, nice volume and top end power over stock transforming this on the road. This had a downpipe so allowed for a little bit more flow 👌🏻
Strong torque whilst retaining stock clutch safety especially with it

Seat Leon Cupra 290
In for exhaust work, stage 1 ECU + TCU on the dyno
This was already running a tune and we have ran it on the dyno to check the power before, with it making more than standard power.

s tune first, i’m suprised it didn’t make more power at 1.45bar -> 1.6bar. This just shows that sometimes boost pressure alone doesn’t make figures, we ran this one more aggressive on boost whilst still preventing it from having the usual compressor surge these can have at low rpm and high boost pressure. Still requesting lower boost pressure as it spools and holding 1.6bar tailing off to 1.55bar top end. With some timing adjustments it made some nice gains 🫡
Completely different power and torque curves between the tunes as you can see with more volume over the whole rev range making it such a quicker car with power still rising till redline!!
Setup with 1-1 pedal demand, boost cap in 1st and 2nd to aid traction so once it gets into third gear and has full boost it gets off 👌🏻
Beautiful example of a cupra that is tastefully modified 💪🏻
We sure do love tuning the EA888 platform whether that’s a stage 1 or a stage 3
TCU also mapped with shift speeds, clamping pressures, oil pressure management making the car a more pleasurable drive whether you’re driving normally or giving it beans 👊🏼

ECU prior so the customer could get the vehicle running and brought to us.
We initially ran it at 0% WGD to make sure that everything was reacting how it should be, once increasing WGD it stayed pinned at 0% on data logs, throwing a fault for wastegate solenoid. Shoving our heads into the engine bay as much as possible, we found it to have the terrible “uprated boost control solenoid”, please do not use these as they are a trash and never work (the OEM one is perfectly fine). Once replaced it finally had boost and showed the wastegate following what was requested in the map instantly, first revision making a nice 380bhp 💪🏻
after many revisions with fuel trim clean up, more boost and a whole bunch of timing, we ended up on some strong figures!
This car was just eating timing with another 12 degrees added before it starting pulling timing!
Unfortunately the spool on this turbo was ridiculous taking 10 years to actually spool up and kick in 😂
Once in boost this was an animal on the road with 2nd and 3rd useless just spinning constantly, once in 4th it did start to grip, let’s just hope this dry weather comes as quick as possible for him to enjoy the power
Another one tuned to perfection 👌🏻

Audi S3 Stage 3
This came in for a juicy amount of parts to be fitted alongside tuning!
This already had:
Intercooler

Paddle clutch

r Jetstream intake, PCV valve, DI injectors, SIMOS18 ECU.
Alfie wanted us to test and clean the injectors as previous tuner reported that cylinder 2’s injector was causing problems. upon testing the injectors, this became apparent as number 2 injector was all over the place and had failed, So we fitted 4 fresh injectors in 💪🏻
Whilst intake manifold off, we noticed the valves were clearly caked so asked Alfie if he wanted them cleaning (obviously he said yes), making them look nice and brand new!
With this being an early S3, it came from factory with a SIMOS12 ECU which if anyone knows are a terrible ECU when it comes to wanting extra goodies, SIMOS12 doesn’t allow for anything like map switching and so on.
So we got a SIMOS18 plug and play ECU from Kallam which allowed us to then work on tuning the car with map switching, launch control (with it being manual), No Lift Shift and so on.
With a little bit of coding via VCDS we had everything running as should be and car was ready to go on the dyno 👌🏻
Once on the dyno, we started with a base file at 1.6bar to make sure everything was running how it should be and all actual values are meeting specified. Everything was all good apart from there were problems with it not hitting specified boost and we could hear boost escaping with fluctuations on and off. We knew what this was straight away as we have had the exact problems in the past with a certain part fitted. a blow off valve. So that came straight off lol so now working with stock diverter which we find is always best and there is no need for any upgraded DV/BOV at all to help maintain boost at these levels.
Once this was removed, we ran it up again and had no problems with actual hitting specified at all…
We finished at a nice 2bar making some strong and healthy figures for the setup with peak torque at 4800rpm and peak power at 7000rpm!
This was an animal on the road pulling hard through the rev range 🚀
