Jordan is brilliant! He sorted my Honda HRV a few weeks back after I’d taken it to six different mechanics with the engine limp mode and engine warning light on the dashboard — even Honda themselves couldn’t seem to get to the bottom of it. Before finding Jordan, I was being given different diagnoses and charged a fortune, with no real solution. I took it to Jordan and, literally within two hours, he had diagnosed and sorted the problem. Highly recommend this guy - he’s an absolute genius!
Took my Audi s1 in for a new clutch and a tune they kept me updated throughout the whole process got it done when he said he would even with a few issues that they sorted , made my car feel better than ever will definitely be using there services again . Would highly recommend
Jordan and his team do amazing work, had a couple of cars remapped by him. Great service and knowledge. Increased my Mercedes throttle response with increases to my HP and Torque, it's now lovely to drive. Couldn't recommend him more! Will definitely visit again 🙏
Lads are amazing, can’t recommend them enough! Also helped me out on a track day with my Civic when no one else could. Amazing team and even better work!
I was just visiting Ulverston for the weekend and desperately in need of new front discs. I phoned them up at 3pm on a Friday afternoon and they don’t normally open on a Saturday but they made the exception due to the state of my old discs, they travelled to Kendal to get the parts first thing in the morning and then fitted them. I went to pick the car up at noon and it was all done! Fantastic work and customer service! 10/10 😎
Great experience really friendly really happy with there work
Q5, school run, same hill every morning. It used to feel thick. The remap has thinned that out: earlier torque, less kicking down, a nicer throttle. Ordinary driving, improved.
The 118d is the car I do the miles in, so drivability mattered more than a big number. There is a climb on the edge of town that always took a gear. It does not now. From there the mid-range is fuller, so I am not stirring the lever on every B-road, and the throttle from low speed is cleaner. I reset the economy display and left it alone for three weeks. It is up on the motorway and no worse in town. The car asks less of me. I am glad I had it done.
I can't recommend these guys enough. They fixed an issue that another mechanic had been struggling with for 4 weeks — Caine Performance sorted it in under 8 hours. Even though the job was made harder by the mess the previous mechanic left behind, they handled everything efficiently, quickly, and with great communication throughout. Safe to say they've got a customer for life with me. Good mechanics are hard to find, Jordan and Simon are genuinely great at what they do.
Not a happy experience for me, and maybe a cautionary tale for anybody thinking about getting a similar car remapped. Had my 5 year old 34k mileage Audi A3 35TFSi remapped taking it from 147bhp to 175bhp. Immediately after the remap my clutch started slipping and required replacing along with the flywheel. I never associated this with the remap until at 39k miles the car needed ANOTHER clutch and flywheel fitting. The mechanic who fitted the second clutch and flywheel is convinced that the remap was to blame. The transmission is factory-rated for a maximum torque of 250Nm. A stage 1 remap pushes torque to around 310Nm to 350Nm. The sudden increase in low-end torque can easily overwhelm a standard clutch. According to the Caine website “the remap is completely safe and custom-tuned for your car, keeping well within the limits of the engine and gearbox”. This has left me £4000 out of pocket although to Jordan’s credit he returned my car back to stock settings and I was offered a £250 refund for the remap as a “good will gesture
I kept a note of the 520d because I did not want a tune that only looked good for a week. The climb on the way into work is the tell. It used to change down halfway, every day, even on an empty road. It pulls through in the higher gear now, and the mid-range means I am not rowing the box on the A-road either. In town the response is cleaner without being sharp. Fuel on the motorway stretch of that commute has improved by enough to show on the gauge. The car is more driveable. I am not having to manage it.
The A3 is tidier to drive. The hill up to the lights does not need the kickdown it used to, and there is more useful pull between 40 and 70. Still quiet, still easy in town.
A Transit Custom with kit in the back tells you the truth about a map. Mine used to give up on the hill leaving the industrial estate and sit in third, loud and slow. It pulls up there now and I am not planning the gradient before I start. Between drops the van is easier too: less lag when you need a gap, less hunting on the ring road, and the empty return leg is using less fuel than it did. I am not claiming it is a car. I am saying it is more driveable, which for this job is the result that counts.
Huge props to Jordan and the team. They found and fixed a boost leak on my car and then tuned it transforming how it drives. Drop them a line, you won't regret it.
The Kuga does a short, steep hill between home and the school, usually with a full boot. That hill was a downchange and a wait. It is a pull now. On the bypass the car has enough in reserve that joining is not a hope, and the throttle no longer feels as if it is thinking about it. We have not lost anything on fuel over a fortnight of the usual miles. It is a more relaxed car. That was the brief.
I Would highly Recommend. I cannot thank Jordan enough for all the work he has done. My Subaru came to him as a non-runner after a previous tuner had corrupted the ecu and blamed it on being faulty injectors. Jordan not only repaired this and got the car running again but also sorted a few little issues on the car which were needed before mapping (bleed the brakes and power steering etc.) Just got back home after spending the day with Jordan road tuning the car and it is a night and day difference to what it used to be like. Car pulls strong all the way to redline. Fantastic Job by Jordan, very knowledgeable and a great guy. I would highly recommend anyone who is looking to get their car remapped to get booked in. Thank you once again Jordan :) -Kyle
Jordan’s a top man and is very friendly and has done me plenty of tunes and work. highly highly recommend and knows exactly what he’s talking about Highly recommend him to other people. He’s tuned every single one of my cars and all been spot on and any future cars i will 100% be taking to him
Excellent work from Jordan. My van developed random errors and drivability issues after another company had messed with it. Jordan rectified this and gave it a remap, which has transformed the way it drives. Highly recommend Caine Performance.
